How to Write a Reader Response
A reader response is a written answer to something that you have read.
Always read the question a few times, very carefully, to make sure that you understand what the question is asking.
Then, go back to the text to find the answer.
Answer the question clearly, and then give clear, specific examples from the text. This is the proof of your idea.
You need to support your idea, just like the legs of a table support the table top. Use 2-3 examples if possible.
Here are some ways to begin your support.

In the first paragraph, we learn that...

Finally, connect your examples back to the question.
